BritAS at the NPE 2024, Hall E, Stand W7261: US premiere of the BritAS ABMF 1600 TH - The Automatic Belt Melt Filter with two filter heads for extremely powerful, ultra-fine filtration
-Perfect for higher levels of contamination

At the NPE 2024, BritAS will be presenting its latest innovation for the first time to the American market. “The NPE is one of the most important trade fairs in the USA for the plastics processing industry, the American market is pioneering, so we are very pleased to present our ABMF 1600 TH TWIN HEAD melt filter for the production of high-performance PCR (post-consumer resins), therewith setting new standards on the market,” says Heiko Henss, CEO of BritAS Recycling-Anlagen. “Especially for this Premiere, we are presenting the TH in an exclusive US Themed artwork.”

The filter combines two ABMF Automatic Belt Melt Filter Units with distribution blocks and is ideally suited for high levels of contamination.

ABMF-TH – Lowest melt loss with the highest output
Highly efficient melt filtration, enormous flexibility and safe operation combined with high economic benefits thanks to minimal melt loss – this is what the BritAS TH stands for.

With a screen area of up to 3,200 cm2, BritAS customers achieve a throughput of up to 8,000 kg/h with a filtration fineness between <40 µ and 1000 µ. The innovation also impresses with an extremely low melt loss, which is less than 1% for PO polyolefins.

ABMF-PET-C – new standards in recycling of post-consumer PET
“The requirements from the food packaging and fiber industries, are set high. Another filter in our AMBF product line, the ABMF-PET-C Continuous, fits perfectly into the circular economy scheme. It stands for the best quality in post-consumer resins, high performance, optimized output, continuity and process reliability.”

The ABMF-PET-C relies on proven BritAS base technology yet equipped with special features and technically optimized. “High PET pellet quality with low operating costs is essential for our customers. The ABMF-PET-C is characterized by filtration finenesses down to 20 µm and minimal melt loss <0.5%,” explains Henss.

“We are clearly setting new standards in the market for high-quality recycling with our ABMF filters!”

NGA Group together at the NPE 2024
At this year’s NPE, the NGA Group will present itself for the first time as a complete group at its booth. In addition to BritAS, sister company COLLIN Lab & Pilot Solutions will be showing both a LAB LINE and a TEACH LINE cast film line in live operation as well as a rolling mill and a TEACH LINE blown film line. COMELT will present its coflex 800 mm extrusion die, while NGA India will showcase its new EASY LINE MAX blown film line and a pressure filter test – also in live operation.
